Select Dental and Dentures


By signing up for The Select Dental Plan you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions; you agree to pay all fees on time (collected by direct debit).

The agreement is with your dentist and cannot be transferred to another practice or dentist.

  1. The patient agrees to pay a monthly dental plan fee.
  2. In return for the monthly payment the patient will receive dental services as described.
  3. Plan membership is for an initial term of 12 months.
  4. After the initial 12 month term, plan membership may be terminated by either party giving 1 month’s notice as long as no further benefits are used from the plan, in which case another full year’s membership will apply.
  5. The practice may increase the monthly dental plan fee by giving 1 month notice in writing to the patient. Your plan fee is subject to change at any time. The practice will endeavour to review plan fees once per annum.
  6. In the event of the monthly dental plan fee being unpaid one month after it is due, plan membership will be terminated, and the termination will be effective from the last day on which the monthly dental plan fee was paid.
  7. If membership is terminated within the initial 12 month term, the patient will be invoiced for the full cost of any discounted treatments provided as a plan benefit.
  8. Failure to pay this invoice may require us to handing your account over to a debt collecting agency. Any actual and necessary costs incurred in obtaining the remaining payment from you will be added to the outstanding amount due for the contract. This is in line with the guidance from the Office of Fair Trading. We will be pleased to provide a breakdown explaining the additional costs which are incurred recovering any outstanding monies.
  9. Up until a terminated membership is transferred to a debt collection agency, we would be happy to receive any outstanding invoiced amounts.
  10. Where the invoiced amount is paid, we reserve the right to discontinue your membership if the amount of fees due is exceeded by the treatment value already used.
  11. All payments made are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  12. Our standard terms and conditions governing appointment cancellation charges in practice apply. You will attend the practice when asked to do so for treatment or examination purposes. If you fail to attend an appointment or fail to give your dentist 48 working hours’ notice of cancellation, this appointment will count as one of the annual appointments available under the Dental Plan. If you fail to attend the second appointment as well as the first, we shall be entitled to terminate this agreement.
  13.  Full and prompt payment must be made to be eligible to receive the agreed discount. If we are unable to collect your regular plan fee for any reason, we will contact you to collect any outstanding fees which can be collected by direct debit or paid directly to the practice by card.
  14. Being a member of Select Dental Plan entitles you to receive a 5% discount on treatment including laboratory work but excluding implants and aligner treatment, on work carried out by your named dentist in the practice.
  15. You must be 18 years old or over to be eligible to sign up yourself or family members to a Dental Plan.
  16. Select Dental reserves the right to change or withdraw the plan at any time and with prior written notification.
  17. Please refer to the practices complaints procedure should you be unhappy with the care you receive.
  18. Select Denture Centre Ltd is responsible for processing your Direct Debit payments for the Dental Plan.
  19. Whilst the scheme aims to provide benefits in most cases, the scheme is a wholly discretionary scheme, not an insurance scheme. It has no obligation to provide the benefits and the Scheme manager will look at each request individually to decide whether or not to provide benefits.
  20. The information contained in the above rules is subject to change without notice. All new terms will be updated on the website as and when required.
