Ruairi has worked in general practice in Devon and also as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation. His interests are in implant dentistry, complex restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. He also has experience treating very anxious patients using sedation and is committed to providing gentle dentistry. He understands that it is important to build a long-lasting relationship with his patients, helping them to achieve a smile they are proud to wear.
Ruairi completed a diploma in conscious sedation in 2015 at the University of Newcastle achieving the gold standard for education and training in conscious sedation in the UK. He has also completed a master’s degree in dental Implantology at the University of Bristol with distinction. He is a member of the International Team of Implantology (ITI) and the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and regularly attends implant conferences to stay up to date with the latest developments in this field. He also works at the University of Bristol as an honorary clinical lecturer on the Dental Implantology programme.
Outside of work Ruairi enjoys running, golf and rugby; as well as cooking, travelling and spending time with his friends and family.
